It’s everyone’s dream whether a male or female to have a bloat-free flat tummy and we do all sorts of things in the quest to achieve that – while some people can boldly walk into a cosmetic surgeon for a tummy tuck or liposuction because they can afford it, others depend on variety of teas, dieting, corset etc. Mind you, no matter the side you choose, it all come at a cost. You know the struggle is real when you can’t fit perfectly into that fine slim-fit shirt or that bandage dress for the event and you end up frustrated and on some occasions you even breakdown and cry. Trust me i have been there before…i have shared a few tears at some point so i decided to find the easiest and cheapest way to flatten my tummy without a hustle and i’m here to share the first secret with you 🙂 Below are the ingredients you will need to prepare this flat tummy water.



It is one of the commonest vegetable around, because of its anti-ageing effects, it’s use on the skin at the spa and also it contains potassium, an essential nutrient for good health so it is found in most salads or vegetable sauce. Cucumber contains a lot of vitamins which are very beneficial to the body.



Lemons are a loaded with Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, which aids the body in weight loss. Antioxidants are known to remove toxins (such as fat cells) from the body, which is why lemon water is such a good aid in weight loss. Additionally, Vitamin C found in lemons, is known to boost the immune system.



This warm, spicy root adds a little oomph, aids in digestion, reduces bloating  and nausea, and settles your stomach. It’s also a natural pain reliever. Ginger also contains gingerol, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds. These compounds help relieve gastrointestinal (GI) irritation caused by toxins, food, and other lifestyle changes.



Lets get down to how to prepare this simple but effective water


  • Pitcher / Jug
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
  • 2 liters water


  1. All ingredients must be washed thoroughly before slicing
  2. Put all the ingredients in a pitcher / jug.
  3. Add water.
  4. Muddle to release flavour and nutrients.
  5. Allow detox water to infuse in the fridge for at least 1 hour but for best results, leave it overnight and drink the entire water by the end of the day

Make sure to do this regularly and you can couple it with workout and healthy eating to achieve the best results. Flat tummy the natural and cheapest way 🙂
